Doughty’s Domiciliary Care Service (DDCS)
“Is to provide all residents of Doughty’s with easy access to high quality practical support and, if and when necessary, direct care”.
Our objectives in order to achieve this are:
- To regularly assess individual resident’s needs for support and care in conjunction with them and, with their consent and their relatives.
- With the residents consent, and full involvement, to develop and agree an individual support and care plan.
- To deliver high quality services in residents’ own flats to meet their agreed and assessed needs.
- To evaluate the effect of the support and care provided to each resident, including, essentially, taking full account of the residents’ own opinions.
- In the light of the resident’s changing needs and the evaluation of services delivered (section c above), to revise the individual support and care plan and to modify the services accordingly, with the full involvement and consent of the resident.
